我好想聽侯導發片喔

結果現在仍醒著...

最近晚上總捨不得睡胡亂鬼混
看著別人翻譯的Ozzy Osbourney自傳
(這家伙真的是個胡鬧的瘋子,也不得不佩服他的機運)
聽著當時的歌

1968年Mick Jagger搞了個
"The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus"
找來Jethro Tull、The Who等團
甚至邀請John Lennon來跟Dirty Mac這臨時組的樂團演奏這首
yer blues
(Dirty Mac這團吉他手是Eric Clapton,還有Jimi Hendrix的鼓手Mitch Mitchell,滾石的Keith Richards)

Tony Iommi也參與了這場演出
但他在加入Jethro Tull四天後決定離開
繼續回Black Sabbath打拼
才有後來的傳奇

後來滾石對於這場表演的聲音不是很滿意
最終沒在BBC播出
(不過1996年還是發行了)

他是EELS的核心人物E
本名Mark Oliver Everett

雖然沒那麼誇張,
但招牌的大鬍子還是讓人想到ZZTop
這張鬍子算清爽的了
有陣子他很愛戴墨鏡綁頭巾抽雪茄的造型
完全就是中東恐怖份子來著
在機場搞不好會出不了關



早在80年代末他就以個人名義出道
到了96年組成eels發行"Beautiful Freak"才開始受到注意
民謠、電子、lo-fi、blues都玩
創作詼諧多變
幾支MV也都十分古怪幽默
VEVO上的頻道

另外他幫很多電影寫過歌
包括hellboy 2、yesman、好孕臨門、終棘警探、史瑞克前3集等

這首寫的是有關他妹妹
說到他的家庭
他父親是提出平行世界理論的有名物理學家Hugh Everett
妹妹受精神分裂所苦而自殺
母親肺癌去世,甚至表妹也在911事件罹難
真是悲慘多災多難
所以很多歌寫的都是有關他的家人

不得不提一下這支去年tilt-shift正風潮時所拍的MV
看到2:19時覺得那場景很眼熟
馬上想到那跟之前我練習移軸效果用的圖片場景一樣(那時隨便找的)
真是一大驚喜
拜google以圖找圖的強大功能
原來這地方是大倫敦西敏市Trafalgar Square
