Rock music makes white people racist, says University Of Minnesota research

哈 白線條躺著也中槍...
雖然研究似乎略顯粗糙
不過的確常在heavy metal或punk中找到白人納粹的身影
諷刺的是近代流行音樂史可說幾乎大半都是源自黑人
爵士、靈魂樂、藍調、雷鬼、R&B、嘻哈

不知道為什麼前年看完白線條的Under Great White Northern Lights DVD 忽然就有點膩了 
倒也不是說討厭 他們仍有自己的魅力在

在當代樂團中the white stripes評價總是褒貶不一
記得每次出現當代前幾百大吉他手的排名Jack White總是意外地高
甚至超越不少經典樂團老屁股 許多人都認為是過譽了
不過反過來想 缺乏貝斯和從沒有過門的鼓點
器材和錄音更是粗糙 挑戰lo-fi極限
玩的又是老藍調和garage
這樣怪異創新的組合會紅
吉他還真的需要有相當程度厚底子才能撐大局
光這樣的創意是該為他記上一筆
難怪《吉他英雄》會找他當新生代代表 
可我個人覺得也因為這樣侷限了發展性
去年初解散了 對外是說沒有不合也沒有健康疑慮
就只是因為種種原因(以前就有解散傳言了 畢竟Jack外務多)

Jack White的嗓子實在不算好還有些神經質
完全貫徹他們的lo-fi/punk精神...
Meg White公眾場合幾乎不開口
感覺似乎有點自閉 她是屬於有靈性的那種律動型鼓手
儘管節奏簡單 鼓中卻有剛中帶柔的氣質(還是純粹她力氣小?)

至於囧令 純粹只是我喜歡這首歌
而他們表演場合也時常翻唱這首
有人聽完的感想是: 還是別搶他的男人...
